Shipping and Returns


As of January 2020 we are in the process of clearing a very large backlog and hope to have it cleared ASAP.

Due to the number of possible combinations (4 handle lengths, 15 base plates, and multiple materials), each razor is assembled from the individual parts when the order is fulfilled.  If a specific part is depleted, we are probably making more, but it means that certain orders may be delayed.

We try to fulfill orders in a sequential order, but since we make the parts in batches, newer orders may sometimes be fulfilled before older orders.


All packages will be shipped with Canada Post Expedited Parcel.  Delivery time is usually about 1 week.  This service is tracked.


All packages will be shipped with Small Packet Tracked USA.  Delivery time is usually about 1 week.  This service is tracked.


All packages are shipped with Canada Post Small Packet International Air.  Depending on the destination, delivery ranges from 1 to 3 weeks.  In some case, shipping has taken much longer (6 weeks in one instance), but each order has made it to it's rightful owner.

Unfortunately, Canada Post Small Packet International Air is not a tracked service.  Tracked shipping options start at approximately CAD$80 (see below).

We no longer ship with Small Packet International Surface.  In our experience, delivery time ranges from 1 to 4 months.


If you want to use another shipping service (such as XpressPost, FedEx, DHL, or UPS), please contact me and we can arrange the shipment.  All shipping costs will be the consignee's responsibility.


All orders shipped under the current free shipping promotion will be shipped with the regular methods detailed above (Canada Post Expedited Parcel, Small Packet Tracked USA, or Canada Post Small Packet International Air).

The site will permit you to select any shipping service, so even if you select an expedited method when placing your order, we will select the regular method during fulfillment.

If you would like to use an expedited shipping service, there will be an additional fee.  



We have a very strict quality control process which tends to prevent non-conformance parts getting to our customers but in the case this happens here are the conditions for a refund:


  1. Item must be in ‘like new’ condition. In the case that manufacturer defects arise after use, we will accept the parts as a return and scrap them so they’re not available for resale. In this instance, the customer would be given a replacement or a refund.
  1. If the customer receives the item with defects straight from Karve Shaving Co. we will replace those items without question, free of charge.
  1. In the case of any return – Items must arrive back to us within 30 days from Canada, 60 days from the USA and 90 Days from the Rest of the World. If the item is received after the listed timeframe, the item will be shipped back to the customer and no refund will be issued.
  1. Customers are responsible for the insured return shipping. If the item is lost in transit, we will not accept responsibility for the lost item.
