Barrister and Mann 'O, Delight!' Luxury Shaving Soap

Barrister and Mann

O, Delight! is a limited edition fragrance for the holiday season. Please note that O, Delight! does not contain genuine hazelnut and is completely safe for those with nut allergies. However, both the soap and the balm DO contain local honey, so, if you are sensitive to honey or other bee products, you may wish to try something else for your holiday shaves instead.

Every child who has ever read C.S. Lewis' The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe has been fascinated by Turkish Delight, the candy for which Edmund Pevensie traded his family's freedom. Most have never tried it, and many who have, find it disappointing.

But truly excellent Turkish Delight, known in Turkey as lokum, is marvelous, available in a spectrum of delicious flavors, and a treat unilke anything else. To that end, we have abandoned the traditional rosewater flavoring to bring you O, Delight!, a soap inspired by the rich varieties of Turkish Delight available, and fragranced with real local honey, courtesy of BeeKind Bee Farm, apricot, hazelnut, lemon, and orange flower. Richly heady and full of charm, O, Delight! will fill your bathroom with comforting warmth whenever you open it.

Directions: Wet your shaving brush well, then swirl it around the jar for roughly thirty seconds or until a rich, creamy lather is formed. Continue building the lather by adding water and swirling your brush either on your face or in a lathering bowl. Shave, rinse, and spend your day feeling great.
