Section 232 Aluminum Compliance Declaration

Karve Shaving Co. manufactures all aluminum products in Canada using raw materials that are traceable by lot and certified to have been smelted and cast in the United States.

We maintain full compliance with U.S. Customs regulations under Section 232 for aluminum derivatives. The following declaration applies to all aluminum products shipped to the United States.

Any package bearing a label with a QR code linking to this page contains aluminum that was smelted and cast in the United States. These declarations are visible on both the customs invoice and outer packaging for compliance verification.

Accepted Material Lots (as of June 1, 2024)

Karve Shaving Co. only accepts and uses aluminum with certified U.S. smelt and cast origin. Below is a list of material heats and their production dates from the mill. Each “heat” refers to a specific batch of aluminum produced by the mill under controlled smelting and casting conditions, traceable by its unique identifier.

  • Heat: P1.000532 – shipped from mill on 2022/11/29
  • Heat: P1.000608 – shipped from mill on 2024/02/16
  • Heat: P1.000615 – shipped from mill on 2024/05/17
  • Heat: P1.000638 – shipped from mill on 2024/08/16
  • Heat: P1.000660 – shipped from mill on 2025/01/31

All mill test reports (MTRs) are retained for traceability. Aluminum material is verified for smelt and cast compliance prior to acceptance into inventory. However, individual part-level traceability is not currently maintained throughout the production process.

This policy has been in effect since June 1, 2024 and applies to all aluminum-derived products manufactured thereafter.

Additional Notes

This declaration applies only to aluminum products clearly marked as such on commercial invoices and packaging. If aluminum from a different origin is used in the future, we will update this page and declare the origin transparently on all appropriate documents.
