Information for USA Customers

The 25% US tariff for shipments entering from Canada is an emergent situation with developments that directly affect Karve and its customers in the USA.  I'll be posting updates here.   - Chris

The US government has delayed enforcement of the 25% tariff on all goods entering the USA from Canada until April 2, 2025.  This effectively reverts back to the USMCA Free Trade Agreement for the next month.

Although there is a month of reprieve, I will still only ship DHL for the time being just in case there are further developments.

I will likely add Canada Post as a shipping option once I'm caught up with overdue orders and I have more inventory on hand.

If you have an existing order in my queue, it is almost complete and I will ship it DHL.

New orders will only be accepted for items that are ready to ship.

The US government has imposed a 25% tariff on all goods entering the USA from Canada.

Fortunately, the low value (de minimis) tariff exemption for shipments under USD$800 has NOT been removed.

This means that shipments from Karve to the USA that are less than USD$800 will NOT have the 25% tariff levied by US Customs Border Protection upon entry into the USA.

However, per the most recent amendment to the Executive Order, the de minimis exception can removed at any time at the US government's discretion.

So, all orders to the USA will be shipped with DHL to ensure they will make it through quickly.

New orders will only be accepted for items that are ready to ship.

The US government has imposed a 25% tariff on all goods entering the USA from Canada.

Further, the low value (de minimis) tariff exemption for shipments under USD$800 has been removed.

All shipments from Karve to the USA will have a 25% tariff levied by US Customs Border Protection upon entry into the USA.

I'm temporarily NOT accepting new orders to the USA until I've finalized a proper method for shipping and filing the customs paperwork.

If you have an existing order in my queue, I’m working on it and will do my best to minimize the impact of the tariff.

It appears as if the US government will proceed with the 25% tariff on all goods entering the USA from Canada on March 4.

All of my products fall into this category.

I'm temporarily NOT accepting new orders to the USA until the details are finalized.

If you have an existing order in my queue, I’m working on it and will do my best to minimize the impact of the tariff.

The US government has delayed the 25% tariff on all goods entering the USA from Canada until March 4, 2025.

That means that all orders from Karve will pass through US Customs normally.

Unfortunately, all of my items are currently Made to Order and there is a substantial lead time at the moment.  I'm not able to guarantee that any new orders will be ready before the tariff comes online.  I am working hard to get caught up and build inventory.

So, I'm temporarily NOT accepting new orders to the USA until I can fulfill new orders quickly.

If you have an existing order in my queue, I’m working on it and will do my best to minimize the impact of the tariff.

The US government has declared a 25% tariff on all goods entering the USA from Canada.

All of Karve’s products fall into this category.

This tariff and related processing fees are NOT captured in your initial transaction with Karve.

You will be charged an additional amount by US Customs and Border Protection before your order is released to you.

For example, if you order a USD$100 razor, expect an additional USD$25 in tariffs and related processing fees.  So, a USD$100 razor may cost you USD$125 or more.
