The Christopher Bradley Safety Razor - Stainless Steel

For those of you familiar with all of Karve's configuration options, please note that this razor is configured with:

WB cap | SB-B plate | 3.5" CB Argyll handle

In order to be able to ship this razor quickly, this razor is NOT available with substitutions.  All of our other options will be available again in the near future.

The Christopher Bradley razor is a classic double edge safety razor that will provide a smooth shave and years of service.  All aspects of manufacture are meticulously controlled to provide consistent performance and clean aesthetics. 

Most notably, the handle is decorated with a pattern that is inspired by the centuries-old guilloche technique commonly used in watch making.  The pattern is cut into the body of the handle, instead of formed, which ensures that all of the edges of the pattern are smooth and clean, while still providing plenty of friction for wet fingers.

The handle is inspired by a pattern that is centuries old and derives from the tartan of Clan Campbell of Argyll in western Scotland.  The spelling of the name is inspired by the main road of the same name near our shop!

The razor is built with a widebody (WB) cap, a solid bar B plate (SB-B), and a 3.50" handle.

The widebody cap covers the blade's tabs.  The original (OG) cap, which does not cover the blade's tabs, is available separately.

The SB-B plate employs neutral geometry, which offers smooth shaves with mild efficiency, free of irritation.  Other solid bar and open comb plates are available separately (in various levels of efficiency).  Click here for a chart describing the different levels.

The 3.5" handle is the most popular length across all of Karve's razors.  Other lengths and other handle styles are available separately.

All handles employ a #10-32 thread.

The entire razor is constructed from solid stainless steel and is bead blasted for a subtle matte finish.  After bead blasting, all parts are passivated.  Click here for more information on passivation.

The razor is complete and only requires a blade to be ready to use.
